Keith Gulliver and Sue Cassidy with her daughter Nicky have lived at 134 Bradley Road, Thurlow for the past nine months. Keith was born in Edmonton, London and Sue and Nicky in SheYeld. Keith and Sue work for an American data company, “Electronic Data Systems”. Keith is a computer business analyst, based from home but travelling all round the U.K. and Northern Ireland. Sue is a computer project manager, oYce based, at Milton Keynes.
Nicky attended Long Road Sixth Form College until this summer, and is hoping to go to university in the autumn.
Keith’s leisure pursuits are cooking, dining out, wine and computing; Sue’s are dining out, watching T.V. and reading. Nicky enjoys riding, travel and skiing.
Thurlow provides them with a peaceful rural location with excellent views “lovely to come home to from work”, friendly people, interesting old properties and pleasant walks with the dogs.
Negative aspects of living here are the distance from shops and restaurants, more traYc than they expected, particularly lorries. “The positive aspects far outweigh the negative.”
