Christine and John Seaman have only lived in Lt. Thurlow for eighteen months since they arrived to take over The Cock Inn. John was born in London and Christine comes from Wallasey, Cheshire.
They have two daughters, Clare, who works as a radiographer at Paddington, and Lucy, who is a student at Parkway Middle School in Haverhill.
Their leisure time is spent walking, swimming, horse riding and horse racing. Lucy enjoys playing hockey and reading.
They like the friendly village, plenty of open space and the safe environment. They have witnessed the building of the new house, “Tilbrooks”, in The Square, and the barn conversion opposite.
They agree that the lack of public transport is noticeable, but reckon less heavy traffic is coming through the village and they have seen the daily bus service begin again.
